Treatment of urinary and genital organs in men and women

  • Kidney, ureter, Bladder, external genitals In men: including prostate gland, penis and testicles
  • Ultrasound investigations (including colour duplex sonography)
  • Flexible bladder investigation –cystoscopy
  • Surgical day-care procedures for men and women

Screening

  • Precautionary urological examinations, age 40 onwards

Extended screening for cancer*

  • Day-patient surgery on penis and testicles, with full or local anaesthetic
  • Vasectomy = male sterilisation No-scalpel vasectomy (NSV) is a less invasive procedure for the ligation of both spermatic ducts

Laboratory investigations

Laboranalysis

  • Hormone levels (in older patients, in the event of exhaustion, or sexual dysfunction)
  • Aging male (laboratory investigation of aging male)
  • PSA, free PSA (early discovery of prostate cancer)
  • further urological testing, urine, serum

Microsurgery

  • Microsurgical interventions for re-establishment of fertility, or reproductive capability
