Travel directions

Public transport:

By S-Bahn (city rail) or U4/U5 (underground railway) to Karlsplatz (Stachus). Around 5 minutes on foot from Stachus in the direction of Lenbachplatz, then turn right into the Pacellistrasse and continue along Promenadeplatz. Entrance next to Hotel Bayrischer Hof, through to garden house.
From Marienplatz (S-Bahn/U3/U6) take the Weinstrasse, then turn left into the Maffeistrasse and continue along Promenadeplatz.
From Odeonsplatz (U4/U5) take the Theatinerstrasse, then turn right into Maffeistrasse and continue along Promenadeplatz. You can also take the no. 19 tram to Promenadeplatz (tram-stop Maffeistrasse).

By car:

Follow the Altstadt Ring (inner ring road) to Karlsplatz (Stachus), proceed north, turn right after 200 metres at the Wittelsbacher Brunnen (ornamental fountain) into the Pacellistrasse, continue along Promenadeplatz.
