Public transport:
- By S-Bahn (city rail) or U4/U5 (underground railway) to Karlsplatz (Stachus). Around 5 minutes on foot from Stachus in the direction of Lenbachplatz, then turn right into the Pacellistrasse and continue along Promenadeplatz. Entrance next to Hotel Bayrischer Hof, through to garden house.
- From Marienplatz (S-Bahn/U3/U6) take the Weinstrasse, then turn left into the Maffeistrasse and continue along Promenadeplatz.
- From Odeonsplatz (U4/U5) take the Theatinerstrasse, then turn right into Maffeistrasse and continue along Promenadeplatz.
- You can also take the no. 19 tram to Promenadeplatz (tram-stop Maffeistrasse).
By car:
Follow the Altstadt Ring (inner ring road) to Karlsplatz (Stachus), proceed north, turn right after 200 metres at the Wittelsbacher Brunnen (ornamental fountain) into the Pacellistrasse, continue along Promenadeplatz.
